"It is an interesting story in the book. I only wish I hadn't started with the third book in the series. It is a good read and I like the fact that reading it I felt as though I had gone back in time. This is how a good book should be."

"If life has taught me anything, it is that the good novels are always the historical ones. Since I was a young teen I was only interested in historical romance novels. I don't care how cliche they are. There is just something about them that sparks a light within me that makes me feel 10 inch taller. I love Victoria Seaton, she is such an interesting character. Jason and Victoria's love had so much passion and fire and made me ache to find that sort of romance in my own life. Most stories by Judith McNaught are amazing so I will recommend that you read this and also check out a few others she has."

"I love historical romance novels, and I like to see my marriage reflected in the characters in the novel. I went to Amazon.com to see if they provided any Top 10 lists for books of this genre, but all I could really find were individual pages. The site sells so many books fitting so many descriptions but it's hard to tell whether or not the quality of these books is any better than any others, so it's hard to choose what I want. For example, I found the title "Sweet Lullaby" by Lorraine Heath, but the site didn't really give me any indication whether or not it was a stand-out title or a classic work of historical romance that I'll want to read over and over again. I'm not sure how to find what critics consider the best books of any genre on a shop site as big as Amazon."

"This is a author that is well respected for the work that she has done in the past. This is not something that is going to be very simple to understand. The love story is very complicated, but thats what makes it great. Its not your typical story of love. This is a book that can be very inspirational for you to read. It will reaffirm the notion that we should not judge a book by its cover or treat people who are different that us for whatever reason as less of a person. "

"I'm busy rereading this series and as I didn't do a review when I first read it, I'll do a quick one now. There are loads of summaries with details of the story so I'll just say that whilst I enjoyed this book, I found it irritating that the H never really redeems himself for all of the awful stuff he said to the h. We know she's the plain older sister to a very beautiful and intelligent deb whom the H decides he wants to marry. In the end because he compromises the h, he is pressurised into marrying her. The h always feels like his second choice and I really think she deserved the words from him to make up for how awful he was to her in the beginning. Aside from that it is a lovely story if you can look past the h always being in her sister's shadow."

"Seven Year to Sin by Sylvia Day is one of the best historical romance novels I've read this year. I felt transported to another era full of torturous romance and drama. The writing was spicy and romantic and the storyline does not disappoint. I can't wait to read her next book which should be terrific as well."
