"I wanted a strategy and RPG game and luckily enough I was able to find this game. I thought Crusader Kings II had everything I wanted and more. I've only played this game for about 5 hours and plan to put in a lot more. It's scary accurate in terms of history and taught me a lot. I recommend this if you're wanted to have a wild time."

"I had high hopes for Hearts of Iron IV, but boy is it a let down. The companys greed killed it. They made it so that there is a lot of DLC if you want to even remotely enjoy this game. The other games had this content in the game, but this version makes you pay for it. they sell the game cheaper than others, but then force you to pay extra to play the game and then your at a higher cost then if they just included it and made the game normal priced. I would not recommend this game at all"

"This is a hardcore strategy game so don't expect to be running around with a gun shooting things. It's historically accurate in its setup but lets you pick any country you want and play out World World II from that countries perspective. The tutorial will not help you, you need to be familiar with this style of game or willing to experiment until you figure things out. It's a great game and lots of fun, a must for any history buff!"

"This one is a game for all those history buffs or those that like business and strategy games. The gameplay is fairly decent, historically alright and price is not too expensive. The game is buggy at times and seems to be better on devices that are seriously fitted out for intense graphics. All in all, I am not a fan but I could spend a few lazy hours on a weekend wrestling with the settings. Saving and restarting the game can be a pain, but some could call it addicting as well. Storyline is good but tends to repeat itself. This is not a game for a serious gamer."

"I'm a huge history buff, and love the 18th century in particular, so Empire: Total War is a game really made for me. Available in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux, Empire recreates eighteenth-century battle across the oceans and on land. It's an engrossing and (as far as I can tell) historically accurate strategy game for those aspiring generals and admirals out there. "

"This game is amazing because it captures the Middle East in a historically accurate manner. The strategy needed to stand-up to the computer is very high-level, so a few missteps and you will find a highly advanced AI pushing back your offense. I love the artwork and the unit animations. This game is supremely challenging and engrossing and I cannot wait to get back to it and play some more."
