"This book was okay, but I soon became a little weary of the play between the two characters. I think the plot and characters needed a little extra life and development. The premise of meeting someone with your same name and then having an adventure with them is unique and thought it could have been a little better."

"Bear, Otter, and the Kid is really about a coming of age tale rather than LGBT issues. It is a little bizarre and not something I'd recommend for young kids since its probably just going to confuse them. I think this book is more of an adult novel but I'm not sure how many adults enjoy reading about kids. Needless to say I didn't really enjoy this book but it wasn't terrible either."
