"Where to I begin? Khan is a fellow from India living in America (played by Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan). He shows classic mannerisms of Asberger's Syndrome (SRK gets it right...), but is high functioning and living with his brother and family -- has a job and falls for a lady. That's where things begin.... And for a while things go OK. He adapts and begins to learn his world.... Then something happens on a sunny day in September 2001 and Mr. Khan who is a devout Muslim.... Well, you can fill in the blanks.... No spoilers here, but suffice to say things don't go well. As a Muslim he prays wherever he's at 5 times a day.... And not everybody finds this comforting.... Trouble ensues and Khan decides (after things have gone REALLY wrong) that he needs to talk to the American President: he wants to tell him: "My name is Khan and I'm not a terrorist...""

"If only the world had more "hero's" such as the one in this movie....the world would be one heck of a better place to live. Unexpected plotline for a foreign movie.....had more of an American "vigilante" tone to it.....either "our" movies are being "wussed" down or foreign movies are getting bolder, I don't know. I do know one thing, this is a move that EVERYONE should watch. I am proud to have viewed this masterpiece."

"I love that this movie tracks the gang violence from bloody knuckle fights, to knives, to the invention of the handgun, to full on modern AK models. The original models were dangerous and this is accurately depicted. It's long, it's violent, but it's a fun ride with enough historical interest to carry most people through."

"This was something I wanted to see as I really haven't watched Bollywood movies very much. This really gave me a good idea about Indian culture as far as politics and even sports. I really think that this movie is probably one of the essential Bollywood movies that if you are interested in the genre you need to see it."
