DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that Sacred Games is Netflix India's first original series that got so controversial? The show led to a nationwide public debate and even resulted in a court case heard at the Delhi High Court. This happened after West Bengal Congress leader Rajiv Kumar Sinha filed a police complaint against Sacred Games and those involved. According to the complaint, the show is insulting and abusing the late Rajiv Gandhi. Gandhi is India's Prime Minister from October 1984 to December 1989. Named in the complaint are Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Producer Phantom Films, and Netflix India. The complainants want the named parties to be responsible for referring to Gandhi as "Fattu". "Fattu" is an Indian slang that means something between a coward and a female reproductive organ. On the lighter side, Netflix has truly stepped up its game by offering more than just Hollywood films. Aside from Indian TV and web series, Netflix is also one of the best websites to watch Hindi movies onlineparticularly Indian comedy movies. As for the Bollywood film industry, it is still having its moment in the limelight as a result of growing interest in Bollywood movies. In fact, there has been an influx of Hindi movie torrenting sites over the years!
