"It is Ramadan again. Leangains introduced intermittent fasting with 5 methods. One of the methods I've tried is dedicated for gym-goers who want to lose body fat and build muscle. I had to fast for 16 hours each day and then eat all I want for 8 to 10 hours. It works great for a month! "

"The Warrior Diet is perfect for me. I rarely get hungry during the day and have always been this way, even as a kid. Eating breakfast makes me feel terrible all day, and lunch has always been more about socializing at school or work. Really what it all comes down to is listening to your body. For me, a big meal for dinner is better than three square meals or several small ones throughout the day. I feel better and look better. "

"Tried this diet after a long and unsuccessful attempt at weight loss and found this diet works quite well. You get used to the hunger fast and after a while it no longer bothers you. I'm not sure I can sustain this lifestyle in the long term but for now I am approaching my target weight fast. "

"Pros: According to the founders, while everyone is technically fasting every day — during the hours when we’re not eating — most of us do so haphazardly, which makes it harder to reap the rewards. Fat Loss Forever offers a seven-day schedule for fasting so that the body can get used to this structured timetable and reap the most benefit from the fasting periods. (Plus, you get a full cheat day. And who doesn’t love that?) Cons: On the flip side, if you have a hard time handling cheat days the healthy way, this method might not be for you. Additionally, because the plan is pretty specific and the fasting/feeding schedule varies from day to day, this method can be a bit confusing to follow. (However, the plan does come with a calendar, noting how to fast and exercise each day, which may make it easier.)"

"Interesting modified version of intermittent fasting. Some of the rules of this method definitely contradict Ramadan rules but it can be a helpful tool to ease into complete fasting."

"If you want to do a little IF during Ramadan check out spontaneous meal skipping. It's pretty helpful overall, though not specific to ramadan."
