"This book describes a very special story about LGBT community, their way of loving, how they behave in their relationship, the struggle they have to pass to live a normal life. I think this book is very well written and its worthy reading it."

"I have a lot of friends in the LBGT, and some are huge sci-fi and fantasy nerds. They told me to give this book a try as the sexuality aspect of the book was minor compared to the story and characters involved in the book. While it is not my cup of tea, I cannot deny that the blend of philosophy, character development, and plot made it a good read. "

"It's a decent book but the price for it was a little too high. The ending is also a bit of a letdown as well. "

"This is an okay romance novel. I felt that the characters were believable and made realistic decisions, but the amount of sex in the novel overwhelmed me. I think that some more of the book could have been devoted to the plot"

"It's just okay. There's multiple sections that I just kind of passed off as 'whatever' and kept reading. There is a lot of sex in the book which could be toned down for more intriguing dialogue, but it's okay overall. "

"I read this book as part of my pride month tbr, and it's the first lesbian book I've read, Juliet Takes a Break is a stunning read that approaches homosexuality or being queer and feminism in an original way. I found it very interesting because the main character is a Latina, which is something rarely seen, and as a Latina myself I found it even more engaging. This book made me feel interested in feminism and more queer books."

"Not necessarily just about interracial lesbians, it uses this as a way to tell a larger story of sexism and racism. Perhaps paints a more realistic portrait of how such a relationship could have been carried out in this time than just romance novels."
