Best ios games with controller support

Mobile gaming has never been better since Apple announced that iOS will start supporting MFi controllers. Serious gamers can finally say goodbye to the awkward and cramped hand positions while moving to navigate games on-screen and say hello to the Bluetooth iOS controller. While there’s a long list of games that give a different experience with the use of gamepads on iOS, racing games benefit the most from it. Drifting and changing lanes is a lot smoother and easier. Using controllers, gamers will get to experience the comforts and familiarity of playing on a console on the go. Smartphones were never designed for comfortable gaming while gamepads are basically designed to be ergonomic, allowing you to play for longer periods of time.

Many games on the App Store supports controllers, especially arcade games. Sadly, not all apps have this feature and you have to manually check whether a game has it or not. Upon downloading a game, you’ll know if it can be played with a gamepad by simply checking if the controller icon appears on its landing page. There are instances though where a game isn’t listed as having this feature but is still compatible with gamepads. So don’t lose hope, that app you’re meaning to try might still be played without that cramped touchscreen controls. If by chance you got yourself a nice controller but don’t know what to play, check out our list of the best iOS games with controller support. Leave a comment below so we’ll know if you agree with our list or not. Happy playing!

DID YOU KNOW?

Dubbed to be one of the pioneers of game consoles in the world, Xbox, owned by Microsoft, has truly captured the hearts of gamers since its inception in 2001. Yet, much as it deserves a lot of praises due to its exceptional functionality, it also had its fair share of flaks. In fact, did you know that in May of 2007, a lot of Xbox 360 game consoles were defective? As a result, Microsoft spent $1 billion to repair and/or replace defective ones absolutely for free! According to Robbie Bach, former Xbox head, it was one of biggest decisions he made in his 22-year stay at Microsoft. The huge defect is called "Red Ring of Death." It was called such because the system would display a 'ring of three red lights' around the on and off button. But what really is it about? Well, it sounds too technical but basically it was s a massive issue on the hardware that caused the console to just stop working.

In all fairness to game console companies, they have stepped up their game in terms of specs, functionality, and display. If you are planning to get a game console, consider the game titles you will be able to play. For instance, latest titles like Resident Evil 2 and Mortal Kombat 11 are both available for Xbox One and PS4. Yet, best adventure games for PS4 like Horizon Zero Dawn and many more are readily available for adventure seekers. Or, if you are a solid iPhone user and you want to channel your love for console games through your smartphone, best iOS games with controller support are ready for download. And if you want a larger screen display, you may opt to try some of the best iPad games with controller, instead. To make it even more interesting and enjoyable, why not play some PS4 family games with your beloved fam?
