"No one wants to be surprised by their period. Clue works fine for helping predict cycle start dates, and you can also track different symptoms, birth control, ovulation and temperature. Bonus that it's gender-neutral so your friends with periods who don't identify as girls or don't want to see a lot of pink and flowers can use it, too!"

"PromElle is the first (and as far as I know the only) app that offers a great way to recycle teenage fashion. Using the free app, teen girls can rent or buy like-new, used clothes from their peers. The app has a great collection of amazing formal dresses and every day clothes. As a mom, I think this is a fantastic idea as my teens are always looking for new clothes and constantly buying new is expensive. Also, I can now get them to clean out their closet and make some money in the bargain!"
