"I've been using the Architect's Forumulator to help me with my architecture classes, and it's been a really big help. This is one of the best apps you can have if you are an architect."

"There's a serious lack of iPhone apps for architects, but Architectural Design fits that niche market need quite well. It provides enough depth for seasoned veterans, yet it's easy enough to pick up quickly for someone just learning the ropes. I recommend it."

"I downloaded Paper by FiftyThree App on my fiancee's iPhone, and she's enjoying using it to organize her commitments. It's easy and fast to use, and a great help for who has the tendency to forget things.."

    #4Structural Navigator

    Structural Navigator
This app will allow you to get reviews of 3D structural models, so designers like yourself will be able to view and edit 3D models using their phone. You will be able to see the models in multiple angles, and share them in a really easy way.

"They say if you build it, they will come -- but maybe the developers of this app shouldn't have bothered. I tried to show Structural Navigator to my brother, who's an architect, but the 3D models kept hanging up and crashing the app. My attempts to share the models also fell flat, so it looks like the app has some pretty big cracks in its foundation."

"This task management system looks very interesting, though a little intimidating at first. I see a lot of power here, but also a possibly steep learning curve. Then there's the question of getting others to use the system as well to make it really work. We'll see how that goes!"

AutoCAD is a computer-aided design software that allows you to design every detail with 2D and 3D and share drawings across desktop, cloud, and mobile.

"It is practically essential for architects to know how to use AutoCAD, one of the tools that's considered an industry standard. The iPhone version of the app is significantly less complex, which is understandable. It's well-worth having if only to be able to see certain resources in read-only mode, but it can be difficult to make elaborate changes because of the limits of the iPhone relative to a computer, mostly."

"A very in-depth app. Problem is that a phone is not a very good tool for planning something like the interior of a home; for that you need a large workspace or canvas. Still, it excels at what it is. "
