"As an aging baby boomer I tried Elevate in the summer to try and help my memory and to keep my brain busy learning something new. Later in the summer studies started coming out that there was little evidence that these brain game apps did anything to improve your cognitive abilities. So in that light you might as well just play something you like on your phone like Cookie Jam."

"I think playing the games on Luminosity have helped improve my memory and concentration. I think of it like a daily workout for my mind, and I've been pretty committed to doing it daily. I do think I have seen some improvement so I would say that this app really works. I don't want my mind to go downhill as I get older and I do think this will help. It is interesting too! "

"When I'm frazzled after a long day of stressful work, there is nothing I like better than to meditate in order to relax. I'm not crazy about the subscription price, but I do love the number of relaxing meditative elements from which you can pick and choose."

"I tried to genuinely like this application but the cost for premium is exorbitant - $189 - yikes! I didn't even get to play the first game when I attempted to try this out on my phone. Right off the bat, the game was buggy showing all "cars" as green X's on a black background."

"Not at all what I was expecting it to be. I feel more stressed out now than I did prior to downloading it. Fair enough as a game, but sort of misleading as a way to relax."
