What are the best James Bond songs?

A
Dave - Binge.co Contributor

The name's Bond. James Bond. That iconic catchphrase belongs to one of the most loved and charismatic characters in the history of cinema. For the uninitiated though, just who is James Bond? Well... Commander James Bond is a fictional spy created by British journalist and novelist, Ian Fleming, in 1953. He is the main protagonist in the James Bond series of novels, of which Fleming wrote 12 and 2 short stories. He is a Secret Intelligence Service agent that goes by the code number 007. He mainly resides in London but actively operates internationally. Fleming said that he drew inspiration from his time serving for the Naval Intelligence Division and during WWII for Bond's character. He claimed that James was inspired by an American ornithologist of the same name. New reports suggest otherwise though as it seems the name was actually inspired by a Welsh agent named James C. Bond, who he served with.

James Bond is a complex character, to say the least. On one hand, he is this suave and charismatic gentleman who knows his way with women. On the other though, he is constantly in battle with his inner demons and addiction with various vices. The many facets of his personality are portrayed rather well in his various films throughout the years. Who can forget about the many femme fatale that he crossed paths with? Oh, and the various gadgets he has at his disposal as well as that Aston Martin he likes to drive around in. One aspect of these films that don't get as much attention though but should are the songs made for them. You'll find - or hear - that they're great as well. Check out some of the best James Bond songs below and find yourself singing along to them. To give you an idea of what to expect, you'll be hearing classic songs from Shirley Bassey and Tina Turner. You'll even hear a more recent one performed by none other than Adele herself.
