""The Expendables 2" is the second installment of the "The Expendables" trilogy and I believe it is the best of the three. It is full of action stars of the 80's and 90's, including Jean Claude Van Damme who plays a villain in this one. It might not be the best Van Damme movie but seeing the actor in a different light - as being a villain is not common for him - and having the pleasure of witnessing this dream cast in the same movie, definitely makes this film a lot of fun."

"I love me some cyberpunk, and I love me some martial arts. Cyborg's got both, and also Van Damme. Sure, some think he's a joke, but he's got a sense of humor about himself. For a little fella, he sure does kick a lot of butt. I keep trying to get my transgender child into these movies, in the hope that she'll grow up to kick a lot of butt, too."

"With this movie I came back in time and got nostalgic. Jean Claude Van Damme is one of my favorite actresses. Universal Soldier has a very good rating and very good IMDb. I will buy this movie and spend an evening with some popcorn in hand"

"Long time JCVD fan here, since at least 1987, but this movie came out before that in '86. I didn't see it until well into the 2000's. Had they played it on HBO, I never would have missed it. Definitely worth adding to any DVD collection."

"It's the typical Van Damme movie, cheesy dialogue and tons of great fight scenes. It's a fun, exciting film that goes by really fast and has a lot of memorable moments, my favorite scenes are the training montages."
