"When it comes to the best John Carpenter movie, I'd say it's a toss-up between this and The Thing. However, there's just something so... iconic about Halloween that I just have to put it above The Thing. Maybe it's because I still watch it every, well, Halloween :D"

"You can't call yourself a true science fiction fan unless you've watched the thing. It ranks up there with Alien as the est alien movies ever made. Oh and stay as far away from the remake as you can please. Just watch this one. I guarantee John Carpenter's directing hasn't lost its luster even after so many years."

"Although I thought it was well made, it seems like John Carpenter was trying to re-capture the success of Halloween and completely failed at it. It's still a good movie IMO so if you want some new horror movies to watch every now and then, go ahead and watch it."

"Well, they do say the second movie in a trilogy is always the worst one and Prince of Darkness surely makes that statement true because among the Apocalypse trilogy, I hated this one the most."

"It's a simple action flick with a simple story and simple characters but sometimes, that's not a bad thing. It's still a fun action romp and doesn't bog itself down with convoluted twists and all that nonsense. Watch it if you just want crazy action1"
