"This site provides a good movie synopsis and helpful user reviews and comments. I watched the trailer for Mogambo and decided that it looks like something worth watching. The most useful aspect of this site is the product details sections that contain links to additional information. When I clicked the John Ford link, I was redirected to a list of his movies where I was able to determine his best movies by selecting the option to filter my results by user ratings."

"John Ford made some great movies, but The Searchers is by far the best. If you like westerns (or even if you don't) you can't miss this movie. It has great performances by John Wayne and Natalie Wood, and the story is incredible. Wayne "searches" for his niece, who has been captured by Comanche Indians. Ford makes it about so much more than that, exploring deeper sides to each character and their actions."

"I think one of the most brilliant things about this John Ford movie is how spectacular the cast is. When I watch the movie, it doesn't seem at all outdated and I really get into each of the characters on screen. It is hard to find dialogue much better in any of Ford's other movies and is my person favorite and recommendation to anyone looking to see any of Ford's classics."

"I thought this movie was not one of John Ford's best. Quite frankly I found it boring, and I do not like boxing in general so that turned me off. The guy is a retired boxer, even though it's a comedy drama. The actors are great in this movie though and the setting is nice I just found the plot quite boring. I would look for something different."

"I saw the Grapes of Wrath for the first time in school. All of us couldn't believe how good it was for an older movie. John Ford is great in the movie and plays along side Henry Ford who deserves a nomination for his performance in this movie. Must see."

"John Ford is one of the best forgotten American actors. His movie Stagecoach is one of my all time favorites. It so closely follows the times, and has some of the best acting, it transports me to an entirely different time and place."

""My Darling Clementine" really is an excellent Western. While I am partial to the works of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, Ford always delivers. He makes his characters really come alive."
