The ketogenic diet is a low-carb, high-fat diet which offers many health benefits, as it lowers blood sugar and insulin levels, while it also shifts the body’s metabolism away from carbs and towards fat and ketones. Foods like vegetables, nuts and some full-fat dairy items are usually the available choices for this kind of diet.

As tempting as it is for weight loss and health buffs to try such trend, it is still best for someone to know what kind of diet is best to be used depending on body type and lifestyle.
