"After purchasing this laptop, I found an Acer with comparable features at about half the price. I really hate it when I end up paying for a brand name. Luckily, the price is the only downside. This machine is actually quite powerful. Handles WebStorm and a bajillion open tabs in Chrome without breaking a sweat. If you don't mind the price, I say go for it."

"To be honest, you can learn programming on any laptop. So there is no real difference between the MacBook Pro 15 or any other laptop running Windows or Linux. The difference is with MacOS you can simply focus on learning to program, without worrying about the many issues that come with running Windows and the necessary knowledge it takes to run Linux. Apple's OS is the most user-friendly out of the three big three OS, which makes it the best in my opinion. "
