WHAT’S THE MEANING?
Laser printing uses the same basic technology as photocopying. In fact, the first laser printers were built from modified photocopiers. In photocopying, a bright light is used to make a replica of a printed page. A laser printer works in almost exactly the same way, but since there's no original page to copy, the laser has to write it all out from scratch. The electronic data from your computer is used to control a laser to get the ink on the paper using static electricity.
