"How Sweet It Is is a fairly youth-oriented book and not really what I expected. I can't say it was a bad book it just wasn't the most interesting for me although for a young girl it would probably be an exciting read."

"A friend recommended Keeping You a Secret by Julie Anne Peters, for my reading. I gave it a read it a read as I really enjoy these young adult novels. This one has a nice story which is more reflective of having a lesbian romance. It tells a heart warming story and I feel Peters does a good job of crafting excellent characters that the reader can really attach themselves to. It's a feel good story and I enjoy that."

"Taking flight is a book Siera Maley that is available on Amazon for $13.99 for paperback or for free in the Kindle format. It doesn't have many reviews but he ones it does have are very positive. The story centers around Lauren Lennox and her struggle after her mother passes away. She falls in love with her counselor's daughter and they start a relationship. This isn't my kind of book but if you are interested in the genre then this might be a good read for you."

This is a romance tale about two lesbian girls in high school and their upcoming reunion that takes place later in life. This contemporary romance tale is very relevant with today's gender issues. The dynamics of the LGBT community is explored then and now and it has great insight on the challenges faced by this group."

"This book is regarded as one of the top of its genre. You really come to identify and root for the main character throughout her trials, but also take a lot of delight in her wit and intelligence. I see no reason why it would limit itself to a lesbian audience, either, as the storyline contains enough fantasy and drama to entertain any reader."
