"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a literary classic that seamlessly blends humor and science fiction in a delightful tale about a man's adventures in space. The first stories were better than the latter one, but an overall enjoyable read. Read this book to figure out why people quote "42" and have a weird fondness over towels. "

"The illustrations in this book are incredibly lovely. I know there are many "Shakespeare for kids" books out there ~ but rather than purchasing those generic box sets on groupon, etc-- I have taken the time to carefully select only the *best* retellings for our home library, book by book. The retelling that makes it to our home library must be a book that will captivate the imagination with depth of illustration as well as excellent word choice. This book is my "top pick" for the retelling of Twelfth Night!! It's really tooooo bad that it is out of print. I paid a pretty penny to snag a used copy for my home library ~ but entirely worth it to call it our own!"

"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is anything but lighthearted. I mean this book is all about black slavery and oppression- that is anything but lighthearted, it's just outright depressing. In one way this tale can be portrayed a little bit as lighthearted in relation to the friendship between two young boys, but other than that, facing the reality of slavery isn't tot appealing nor lighthearted."

"I think this is a pretty good match for a lighthearted book. It's definitely pretty well known and even though the average rating wouldn't indicate it being the best, many consider it to be very good. I think that since there aren't many of it's kind it's a good solution."
