WHAT’S THE MEANING?
For iOS, live wallpapers are a type of animated wallpaper that appears as static images at first. The animations activate through a tap or a long press. Live wallpapers are only supported by late iPhone models starting from the iPhone 6. This is because live wallpapers need the 3D touchscreen feature to activate. Live wallpapers are also compatible with newer iPad models. Live wallpapers are often confused with dynamic wallpapers. While also animated, dynamic wallpapers act more like short video clips set to play on a loop.
