"I was recently turned on to Lovecraft boxes and I truly love them. I am totally into horror and the paranormal story lines. This box checks off all of these boxes. He writes with such intensity that you can't put the book down. If this is your kind of book reading i highly suggest getting this book."

"At the Mountains of Madness: And Other Tales of Terror is written by H.P. Lovecraft and has many, many reviews on Amazon. A collection of tales, many reviewers regard the title as 'classic Lovecraft'. The question on whether it's the "best Lovecraft books" isn't clear, but it could be a contender."

"I usually love Lovecraft books, but this one just didn't do it for me. It was really bizarre which is ok but this one really had me confused. If you feel like getting a headache from being confused and reading the pages over and over again, then this is for you."

"I adore H.P. Lovecraft, so I thought I'd check this out. Bad idea. When you have an anthology, you'd hope for some good entries somewhere in the bunch. This has none and they don't connect at all. This is more of an abomination than a tribute. Avoid!"

"The author does a pretty good job of continuing the Lovecraft universe as far as a writing a pageturner. There were too many characters to keep track of, however. Also, there was no character development to speak of."

"As this is not actually a Lovecraft book, it technically doesn't fit as a lovecraft book; it is however a prequel to one of his. I wouldn't read this if you're just getting into Lovecraft books though."
