"Arkham Horror the board game is very cool. It brings every everyone to the table. The main thing about it is the story line and its characters. BUT, one will enjoy it the first, maybe the second time playing it but the surprise and excitement will soon wear off as you dont have more expansions as it is simply a card game. And will need expansions regularly. It's very pricey and when the developers do come up with expansions, one will have to pay for them too. I wouldn't recommend purchasing but rather borrowing it for a board game night "

    Mansions of Madness: 2nd Edition
In this updated version of the classic boardgame, the role of the Keeper is replaced by a high quality app, turning the game from a 1 vs many dynamic to a fully cooperative experience where players take the role of one of eight investigators and must work together to solve each scenario and defeat the forces of evil.

"Great change up if you enjoy playing board games! Instead of your average monopoly, or life, this game adds all new elements to a board game, and allows you to spend time with people you care about at the same time! "

"I'm a huge H.P. Lovecraft fan, and told one of my friends I wouldn't mind getting some type of Cthulhu-themed board game for my birthday, and they bought me this. However, it turned out that this was the Arkham horror *card* game, and not a board game at all. It's not bad for what it is, but don't get it confused with the identically named board game, if you're getting a present for a board game enthusiast. And if you do get the board game, try to get the Chaosium original, it's really excellent, much better than the revamped versions."

"I can and will always sit down for a large plate of Lovecraft. Sadly im not the biggest Board game fan but Lovecraftian Board Games is a table top RPG game! The box alone the game is stored in is appealing. Comes with plastic figures. A couple seemed to have manufacturer errors in the molding. The cards are artistically pleasing and the game board has its own eeriness to it. So far we have only completed 2 of the campaign . No worries of it getting old though as they also have expansions for it. Highly suggested!"

"It's okay. Maybe I prefer the original pandemic more. The best Lovecraftian board game is Arkham Horror with the Mansions of Madness expansion."
