"This is classic Mad at its very best, there's nothing lazy or pointless here. Everything here is amazing, from Bill Elder's timeless artwork to the satire that still holds up today. While it's not cheap, they haven't done a reprint since 2002, it's still worth the money."

"Love this collection; it's got pretty much everything and Martin's just a delight. Non-fiction comics aren't as popular now and so I found this to be a pleasant change from normal."

"Although this is a funny read, this is far from being the best MAD magazine comic book. It's a quick read, being only about 200 pages and many of those pages are illustrated. Up to this point, the best MAD magazine comic book that I've come across has been The MAD Reader."

"I remember when MAD magazine was still available on magazine racks. The art in the comics was always easily recognizable. I imagine there aren't too many legitimate MAD magazine comic books floating around these days, so I suggest MAD's Greatest Artists: Sergio Aragones: Five Decades of His Finest Works by Sergio Aragones."

"I never really understood the MAD humor, but I've purused this book while at my parents' house. It's... interesting. The songs are very silly sounding and the drawings are fun to look at."

"This is an entirely unique book, especially for lovers of MAD magazine. Not only is it a walk through the artistic history of the storied magazine, but a beautiful graphic tome in its own right. The humor is true to the source material; I loved this hilarious walk and look down memory lane."
