"An insanely fun and goofy manga series, geared towards no particular audience, as long as you're looking for some fun. While it contains some oddities and trappings traditionally found in manga, this is a lighthearted series that appeals to almost anyone. The culture barrier here is very low, as the humor and quality of character development leads to an engrossing tale for anyone who's willing to read it."

"I've heard Korea has some decent manga called manhwa. I'm a fan of manga so I decided to give this a read. Pretty impressed with the art work, it's actually very sharp and detailed. You can tell they want to break into the manga seen because they're not being lazy about any of this. Overall really good manga too."

"Demon Diary is the first in one of the best manga series ever published. This book in particular started me on my decades long passion for manga. I fondly read back over the entire series every few years. It's just as interesting the fifth time through as the first!"

"I'm a big fan of manga and anime so this has been on my read list for a while now. After having read the series I can recommend it to people who are into shoja manga. It's also a good value when you consider how much it would cost to obtain it from elsewhere."

"I was looking for a new manga series to get into so I tried D. Gray-Man on the positive recommendations I'd seen for it. It didn't impress me at all, it felt like just another boring monster shonen, with no real original or interesting ideas."

"Manga is typically about shonen - teenagers/early adults who get into some sort of violence, usually supernatural in nature. This is a good alternative and it's popular, but I'm not sure it would be classified as 'best'. Maybe to some."
