"My very first introduction to Manga and I am sold. Fruits Basket is entertaining and the art work of Natsuki Takaya is beautiful. The storyline was easy to follow and pretty interesting. I can definitely see why people have rated this series as one of the best. I went ahead and purchased volumes 2, 3, and 4 because I am interested in the characters and want to continue following them, and truth be told, I want to meet the other members of the Zodiac! Side note: I have the Collector's Edition and there are are total of 12 volumes in this set."

The 1988 anime movie has been a classic for generations and now the story is in anime form. While it's perfect for children and young adults, the book is great for all ages. The three volume combination is such a great money saver for me as I have been waiting to own this series for a loooong time now. The quality of the pages are thinner but that doesn't deter away from the art or contrast quality.
