"I am a huge manga fan and Case Closed is very-well written and amazingly illustrated. I thoroughly enjoyed this first volume and can't recommend it enough to manga fans. Another thing I really like is that it is finally available on Kindle. Gosho Aoyama never disappoints. I loved it and would buy it again."

"This manga has absolutely lovely art--while the dialogue is great, it is the illustrative style that really grabs me. The themes about gender and identity are incredibly interesting and treated with care. I appreciate that there is lots of humor to lighten the mood; I found myself laughing a lot!"

"Generally regarded as masterpiece, this is a loopy story that sounds absurd on paper, but works great in execution. It is funny, loaded with adventure, and the characters are so distinct, they each come to vivid life. The art is flawless."
