"I recently bought the book "Marilyn: The Passion and the Paradox" because I wanted to learn more about the life of the hollywood star and sex symbol during the 50's and the 60's Marilyn Monroe. I got to know she was more fragile than she appeared, and I enjoyed the fresh style of the book. I suggest it to everyone that would like to know more about Marilyn."

"A good read if one wants to get a up close and person look at Marilyn's life through the eyes of a family member, although I do wonder if her sister was actually close to Monroe or if she wrote the book to make money off of her name."

"Way too rushed. The book is just too stuffed with details, so the entire book is just a long blur of names and faces. I appreciate the research that went into this, but that's all for naught if the book is a slog to get through."
