"So my son is usually bouncing off the walls at night before bed, and I couldn't take it anymore. I have tried routines and schedules and rituals and nothing was working. I heard one of the other moms at the bus stop talking about meditation resources for kids, and I went searching for something that day. What I found that actually worked was this video, Hot Air Balloon Ride: A Guided meditation for Kids, Children's Visualization For Sleep & Dreaming. It totally calmed my boy down and we use it every night now. Thank goodness, Mommy doesn't need a new bottle of wine 7 nights a week anymore!"

"This post had a lot of good points. However from my personal experience with children, it would be very tough to get them to commit to this. The only way this can work in my opinion is to start as soon as the child is born, you should introduce them to this kind of lifestyle."

"If I can participate in yoga, then my child can too. It's always so hard to put my child to sleep and get him to burn off energy. This book seems to solve that problem. Yoga is already calming on its own so it only makes sense to make it kid friendly. It teaches my son fun yoga poses while it starts to calm his body down for bedtime. It's a win win situation."

"The title made it seem promising, but as far as I can tell there is nothing about the video specifically tailored to kids. In fact I think they'd have a difficult time concentrating. I expected something that addresses that. It's a good solution on the surface though and I'd expect it in results if I searched."

"I've been teaching my child meditation techniques and this app has been very helpful for helping him keep track of how long he's been meditating. It doesn't take up a lot of space or resources so we know it will always be reliable. It has multiple timers which might be helpful for some but we just need the one. On that note, it' simple and elegant...and the designers didn't try to add to many features which would only serve to make the functionality too complicated. I like apps that have a purpose and don't try to "do too much"...it works well on his iPad and is exactly what we needed! "
