"As an avid Michael Connelly fan, this solution fits the bill. In Angels Flight, Harry is tasked with an impossible investigation where no matter what, he won't come out looking good. He can either arrest a popular detective and lose the respect of the police force and if he doesn't, the city will have his skin. If that wasn't enough, his marriage is falling apart. Harry is torn between which problem. if any, he can fix and the drama is so compelling that it's incredibly different to put the book down. You can't go wrong with Angels Flight!"

"It's all a matter of personal preference. However if you like Connelly this is a solid book. A good solid page turner that doesn't require a ton of background info. "

"I almost got triggered reading this. I was in the jungle myself, and the way Connelly writes, it's very descriptive and like being back there. But, it's safe. That is, while I was drawn in, it was a safe fear. Maybe it was the seductive FBI agent that made it enjoyable."

"This Conelly novel is the most exciting. I have read them all but would highly recommend this one. Sure, you need to start with the first two or you will miss out on the character development of Harry Bosch, the main character, but it is worth the read."
