I've found Avenza Maps to be the best military style grid app in keeping track of my location while off roading through remote areas. This app was not very useful. It shows you where you are but no destination that I could find to input. I just don't get it. The visuals are not bad. That made me want to like this but all in all I feel it is not very useful. There are better apps out the for this and I don't now why they even bothered with it. Does not get many good reviews. Skip this app. More

This is pretty cool. I wish it didn't have so many ads though. Add night mode and I would say it is one of the best.

What's great about this app is you can use it even if you don't have a signal. Since I live in a dead zone this is very useful to me. It's also great for when I need to travel to an unfamiliar area for one of my kids' activities. The only downside is there aren't enough updates to the maps. So it doesn't completely replace google maps for me. More
