"Kindle is a must-have. Their book library is unbeatable, and growing all the time. You will never run out of books to read. If you have Amazon Prime, you will have a lot of free content to read, too. Moreover, Kindle Unlimited is a "Netflix for books" service, that will ensure you never run out of GOOD books to read. Kindle books often cost just a few bucks, especially on sale, and there are always sales. If you're a big reader, Kindle is a must-have, pure and simple."

"iBooks is a good mobile app, but only if you're on an iPhone or iPad. It is not available on other systems, so it's hard to call it one of the bests. It's pretty good, makes it easy to use whether you buy the book through iTunes or upload your one you own, but it's limited access puts it out of the running for the best."

"I've been working on transitioning to reading more books and Google Play Books is a great way to make it easy and accessible. I much prefer the ease and reliability of ebooks, and using this app instead of an e-reader means I get full color and properly rendered graphics and images, increasing the types of books I can read--which means I can browse comics in a digital format! I also appreciate being able to sync across devices."
