"As a teacher, I am always looking for online lessons or games to help my students, especially in areas of math. Cash Out is a money game, with different difficulty levels for grades 3-7. The game is very easy to navigate and even offers hints in case students get confused. I like that I can set an option to show a particular math solution to the student or not, which would cause the student to have to figure it out for him/herself. I would encourage figuring it out mentally versus paper as I think development mental math skills is important. "

"Math - Play is a game I've found to be a very useful tool to help my kids with their math skills. Not only practical math skills but practical money managing skills for kids. I think I found so many good uses for Math - Play that it's been one of the best money counting games I can think of. It integrates a fun experience into learning practical math. My kids received a piggy bank as a gift last Christmas so they've been counting the coins they've been putting into the piggy bank. Math - Play has really helped them learn how to keep track of how much is going in as well as differentiating decimals and breaking up certain money amounts into quarters, dimes, nickels. Give it a shot it's kind of addictive for adults too if you're a numbers person."
