"Zillow has allowed me to purchase our own home. It was also here that I found the apartment when I was still renting. Although the app was a bit buggy, the website provides better information and interface. I really found the mortgage calculator helpful when canvassing for a mortgage lender."

"My wife and I are first time home buyers so we did the whole research on where to get our mortgage and decided on choosing Vylla. They were nice and all but at some point, one of their agents wasn't that great as he started ghosting my wife and I when we were about to move into our new house. But then another employee of theirs managed to save the day and helped us get into our new home. Vylla is nice, specially since our credit rating isn't that amazing yet. I like them, just maybe some of their employees aren't that great. "

"Rocket Mortgage has a mortgage calculator and it has definitely helped me in financing my own home with my newly wedded wife. I'm even able to pay it partially thru the app. I've never liked talking to people, and this has helped me a lot. They also offer refinancing and I've suggested that to my brother. he seems to like it a lot so far. "

"They have helped me with financing my home, and explaining to me in person and helping me understand how this mortgage thing works. I've been renting since I graduated college, and finally, i am now able to buy my own home and I'm excited to show my new home to my parents! After meeting their agent, I continued every other transaction online which is very convenient for me.I would definitely recommend this mortgage lender for first time home buyers like me. "

"My husband is currently in active duty in the military and we heard that J.G. Wentworth provides VA Home Loans so we got one. I am now living in our own house with our children while waiting for him to come home from serving the US. Our kids are also very happy about our new home. Their program is one of the best mortgage lenders I have encountered especially for families of those in the military like ours. "

"I asked them for refinancing, got approved, went thru the whole submit requirements etc. etc. Everything was smooth. But then, my husband managed to key in the wrong account number, meaning the monthly payments got rejected. and THEN, they didn't even notify us about the wrong account number. they only told us we were paying late and that we now have a late fee to pay. I talked to them about it, customer service was pretty nice, they understood the honest mistake, and they waved the fee and everything. I like how they take care of their customers."

"Normally, with a bank as big as Bank of America, you won't really think that they'd have options for those with poor credit scores. But they actually do! Although given that my credit score is low, I can't really get a big loan, their program still helped me in getting a mortgage for my first ever home. And i trust them since they've been standing for quite a long time now."

"I have had my home loan with Citi for a long time. It wasn't the original loan though. Citi bought the home loan. around the first 7 years, or something like that, the company was a grisly bad dream. Recently, they have been amazing. Obviously, all I ever do is send them a check. It appears, nowadays, to be adequate. However, before they settled down, they were incredibly forceful and disagreeable. But I guess they also deserve to be in this list of mortgage lenders. "
