DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that many critics actually felt that Android would fail miserably? Sounds outrageous, right? Considering its widespread praise in the market, we get it if you think this is some sort of a joke. But yes, before the most useful Android apps came forth, doubts had been thrown right and left about the mobile operating system. Even Samsung and Nokia did not find any potential in it. In fact, the former had the opportunity to buy Android but decided to pass on it. The latter also underestimated Android, with its CEO, Anssi Vanjoki. comparing using it to a boy peeing his pants. At the time, the iPhone was relatively on its legs in making a digital phenomenon. Microsoft and Blackberry were also leading in smartphone sales. More than that, the idea that Google would develop a mobile device didn't sit well with industry leaders.

Now, if you take a look at how Android is faring in the digital world, you'd be amazed at how far it has already gone. It's even no secret that Android is butting heads with iOS when it comes to market shares. In 2016, its global smartphone market share reached around 88%. That's nothing compared to Microsoft Windows, iOS, and Mac OS X shares combined! With over a billion users around the world, it seems that Android's dominance isn't going to wane anytime soon. So, rejoice Android users, because it's highly likely that there's a lot in store for you. Whether it's for learning, communication, social media, or productivity, there is definitely a must-have app for you.

"This is a very good file manager that has a lot fo useful features (just check the list in the app description). It has some bugs (like problems reading files that have accented characters in their names) but the devs are usually quick to address issues. On the down side, this app has a 14 days trial period after which you'll have to pay."
