"Success and Happiness is not really a narrative - it's more just a collection of thoughtful quotes. A lot of them are fairly inspiring, though. Another upside is that this work is apparently free for Kindle users. There's no downside in giving this a shot if you have one of those devices, otherwise, you might see a lot of material you already know about."

"This particular Amazon listing isn't quite a perfect solution. While it lists the various formats for Watts' book, the audio version is not not currently available and the hardback version is priced out of reach of most average readers. It took me a few additional clicks to access pages where I could purchase either the Kindle version and the paperback version. I would say that's a partial solution, but one more intrepid customers might not follow the digital breadcrumbs. Overall, It took a little added work but this did get me to one of the best motivational books around. "

"A book from another era, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind blends religion, Freud, and self-help to create a feel-good, low-effort way to make your life better: just say what you want over and over again and hope your mind is listening. It is, of course, which is why this stuff does work, just not as spectacularly as Mr. Murphy claims."

"This book is supposed to motivate you to increase your attention but it fails miserably. It rambles on and on and switches topics without ever inspiring a spark in the reader. It certainly didn't motivate me to improve; rather, it made me want to fall asleep."

"Bill Veeck was a true maverick before that term got tossed around by crazed hockey moms/ vp wannabee's. Anyway... the story of this man who was known for sending a midget to bat in the majors and, later in life, the disco demolition fiasco in Chicago, was more than those events. He was the kind of guy who "got it" about pro sports. He knew that the fan should come first and that this should be fun. Aftert reading this, you'll want to give the rest of the owners, agents and prima donna athletes a copy in hope that they too will "see the light". The book is his autobiography of sorts that tells more about his philosophy about the game and business than it does about the facts of his life. A fun read, essential for baseball fans, about the coolest owner ever. A hall of fame read, from a hall of famer"
