"Another iconic role for Chadwick Boseman and again, he delivered. At a time when racism and color segregation was rampant, Jackie Robinson stepped up to the plate and helped break that barrier. This film is one of the most important films of all time, not just because it is a biopic of a major sports figure, but someday, kids will look back and say that this is where world unity began. When a guy like Robinson dared to change the status quo."

"I rated this 5 stars because it is a film about the greatest boxer of all time. While Will Smith performed remarkably well in this film, I feel like this movie was made for economic purposes and not really to highlight that 10-year span in Ali's life. That said, it was a very well put-together movie but I wonder about its accuracy."

"Another boxing legend came to life with Russell Crowe portraying Jim Braddock. The film captures the situation during those times and highlights how difficult it was back then. Given up for dead, Braddock's only desire is to keep his family fed, sheltered, and clothed. Something that anyone of us would aspire to do. But the only way he could have done that was to fight in the boxing ring, broken hand and all. Cinderella Man should have been recognized for what it was, a historically accurate biopic of a boxing legend."

"The movie was about Michael Oher but Sandra Bullock stole the whole show. LOL. Can you blame her??? She is a great actor and it showed. At least we get to see how Oher started and the prejudice against African-American and the immediate distrust when Caucasian people try to help them out. It's disgusting especially since it was portrayed in the film as well. But it's true, I guess. That's why I like the film. It is true even some parts of the movies are inaccurate, at least the way it portrayed the society our accurate."

"Dennis Quaid is at it again. He really is one of those actors who could play any roles, athletes included. His portrayal of Jim Morris as a high-school teacher who used to be a hot-shot baseball prospect was superb. And the hesitation of trying out to pursue his dream at the age of 40, well, I think most people could relate to that. People stick to the jobs they hate but can't leave because it keeps their family fed and clothed. I admire Morris for his bravery to pursue that dream. I only wish I could do what he's done."

"The Fighter is one of those underrated films you will see. After you watched it, you'll be surprised and will wonder why the hell you've missed a film as good as this one. And it's not just about the actors. It's about how well the movie was executed. And well, Micky Rourke is a god."

"Technically, this movie is about the coach. But heck, he was a former baller himself. And anyways, this movie teaches that education is still more important than anything. I wish we have more Coach Carters teach the kids about the importance of education and life. "
