"I had high hopes of exploring the mother-daughter dynamic, and it's a little heart-warming at times, but this was really just another chick flick. Kind of more shallow than inpriring, it's really just okay. Worth watching, but not worth buying to watch again and again, like some movies are. "

"Mamma Mia is a very cute musical and it certainly highlights a relationship between a mother and daughter. But it is highly untraditional and nothing that most people would relate to even though it is entertaining. There are much more worthy mother daughter movies both dramatic and humorous that hit the mark much more."

"Very interesting storyline and it’s always a bit sad to see children go into the foster care system but it’s eape sad when they’ve been put into the system after having their parents in their lives for a while and have memories of their parents "

"Carrie is the story of a high school girl with telekinetic powers and as horror films go it is quite good. I think most everyone has seen this film by now but if not, it's one of the better book to film movies from a Stephen King novel. It's definitely worth a watch."

"I was looking for a great mother and daughter movie to watch over mothers day weekend. We decided on My Sisters Keeper. While the movie was great, it was a bit to dark and depressing for me. I wouldn't recommend this as a film to watch as a family."

"Little Miss Sunshine is cute, quirky, and fun. I had bought it for Mother's Day, hoping it would be a good mother/daughter comedy. While it isn't bad, the mother daughter relationship is muddled in with all of the other family drama, which is rampant, instead of being in the forefront. It isn't a bad movie, it just isn't what I was looking for. "
