People inside movie theatres are all expected to be quiet. When everyone beside you is trying to focus on what's happening on the big screen, a small amount of noise that you make can cause distractions due to the enclosed space. How about you try to imagine living in a post-apocalyptic world where a single scratch or whisper can cause you your life? This is the exact premise that 2018's hit psychological thriller 'A Quiet Place' revolves around. The flick has definitely made noise in the box-office despite low expectations as it has earned more than $300 million around the world from its $17 million budget. With a cast that features Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe, the flick has been Paramount's new signature film and more movie studios are expected to follow the horror-thriller blueprint it has set.

While a lot of horror movies with dystopian themes and sci-fi sensibilities have failed to win over critics, this is not the case with this John Krasinski creation. If you have been deeply moved and scared by A Quiet Place's monster or if you just love films that share the same themes with it, you don't have to keep waiting for part two. There are tons of movies like a quiet place on Netflix and other platforms that you can stream right now. In this list, we have some of the best movies like A Quiet Place which will surely keep you at the edge of your seat. So, make sure you have someone beside you as you scroll down to choose your next flick.

"Bug is one of those movies that people often overlook because it was not a huge blockbuster film. All I can say is I am glad I watched it. It is not a horror movie really, but more of an interesting look into the psychological breakdown of someone teetering on the edge. Judd and Shannon were in the roles of their careers in this movie!"

"This was pretty interesting to watch. Had a couple of suspenseful and scary moments, but not too different from other films that I've seen. I still found it good for what it was, and may watch it again at a later point with my spouse, since they haven't seen it yet and would most likely want me to watch it with them."

"Get Out is a suspensful movie, but the similarities with A Quiet Place end there. The settings are very different and the characters and subject matter differ as well."
