"I'm in love with this film! The storyline is so powerful and compelling. I also think this is one of Don Cheadle's best movies. His acting was superb! "

"District 9 is an allegory of the Apartheid era in Cape Town, South Africa where non-whites are discriminated. The protagonist transforming into a bug man is a great way to show people what it feels like to become an oppressed minority. They focused more on the racism issue rather than the sci-fi part, which is kinda good."

"If you're looking for a good, classic movie that involves adventure and romance, then The African Queen is the one. You have two likable protagonists on a boat, rowing actually in Africa. Everything in this movie is gorgeous."

"As an aspiring director, Borom Sarret is inspiring. Yes, it's rough and short, but you can feel the authenticity that the director is striving for. Ousmane Sembene showed the social divide at that time."

"At first glance, Hyenas looked like a revenge movie. You know the cast are bad guys, nobody is good. When we watched this movie during spring break, my college friend hinted that the plot was similar to the stage play "The Visit". It's a nice film nonetheless. "

"I enjoyed The Gods Must Be Crazy when I was a kid. Seeing the perspective of a native is refreshing since there are too many white male protagonists at that time. If I'll have kids, I would like them to watch The Gods Must Be Crazy."

"This is another retelling of the classic Tarzan which I'm totally not a fan of :( It's entertaining SOMEHOW but it was just okay. I think the writers overlooked the classic story? or they just want something new to the eyes of the viewers. Moreover, I only watched this because of Margot Robbie. "
