"What is it with men and high-speed races? Even ones with horse-drawn carriages? Well, I really don't get it. That said, I really liked how this film was created. Great storyline and plot that stayed true its source. It might be a bit more mellow-dramatic than most of us thought but the scenes were shot to perfection. Also, it drowns out the thought that Morgan Freeman was really a part of that old medieval Robin Hood movie. This I like regardless of the races. LOL!"

"Call this movie anything you want. This is how I want movies about the Spartans to be made. Action-packed, technically-sound, good actors. Not just some mindless hacking of bodies with blood sprawling all over. Also, Gerard Butler is the best option to play Leonidas and no one else comes close. What surprised me was that Lena Heady who played Cersei Lannister was in this film and played a major role and I didn't even notice!"

"I so loved this movie. I don't really treat this movie as a religious movie. Remove the religious side of the film, The 10 Commandments is really just an epic tale by itself. And as an epic tale, it was glorious. It follows the basic premise of good vs evil. But with the God on the protagonists' side, there is no way evil could prevail. I just love this movie and all it represents."

"Who wouldn't like this movie? Epic war movie with a bit of everything. Brad Pitt looked every bit of the demigod Achilles while Eric Bana was wonderful as Hector. The storyline itself is an adequate retelling of the Trojan War. While there are inconsistencies, you can forgive them since this movie is one for the ages and the entertainment value is skyhigh. "

"This movie is worth watching if only for the cinematic sense. The CGI was great. Charlie Hunnam as King Arthur, in all honesty, felt like he just coasted and collected his paycheck. The fight scenes were great. The plot is interesting. But really, a film is only as bad as its actors. Overall, it is a movie you can watch if you have time to kill."

"Oh yes, we were entertained, thank you very much! If you don't know what I mean, you've probably been living under a rock or something. Gladiator is absolutely one of my favorite films Russel Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix were great in this film that it is difficult to see them in another role."

"Joan of Arc is my childhood hero so any movie about her is already a bonus. That said, I enjoyed watching The Messenger. Mila Jovovich is a powerful actor in her own right and she portrayed Joan of Arc the way I thought she would be portrayed."

"Excalibur, in my opinion, is the best movie about King Arthur. No fancy CGI can replace the acting and the storyline."
