"The Princess Bride is a classic for a reason: it has humor, romance, swashbuckling action and a sweet message that many kids will enjoy again and again. It has a certain sense of meta-humor throughout the narrative--particularly when it goes back to showing the grandfather reading the book to his grandson, who starts out skeptical of any book with the word "princess" in it but ends up being engrossed by the end-which will be a hit with the older kids. Younger kids will enjoy the fantasy style adventure, although they may be a bit bored by the romance storyline or scared by certain thrilling sequences. Still, with some parental guidance, the film is something all kids should watch."

"The NeverEnding Story is one of the best movies of the 80s. Although a lot of childrens movies seemed pretty dark in the 80s this one was not too dark or scary. I loved this movie although i would say Labrynth might be the top 80s movies this would be a very close second. It had mystery and fantasy and a flying dog what could be better. i would recommend this to kids and adults to this day, it still stands up as one of the best kids movies of all time."

Mary teaches the children how to be nice and share, which is something every kid should learn. I am happy that Mary Poppins has stood the test of time and has been released on many formats that were current for a given year. Everyone, not just children, should watch this movie at least once."

I always engrossed myself in the movie. pretending to go on a great adventure to search for the Lost Ark, fighting Nazi's, and overall just being a very resourceful person. I watched it as a kid and I think you should let your kids watch it too."

I feel like there has not been a better performance since I started watching all of films as a kid. The whole film is done well and they really seem to get the job done overall with the special effects. The story is just fine as well"

So I checked out Amazon videos and quickly downloaded one of my favorites from the past "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". It brought back tons of memories and it was just as good as the first time I saw it. Amazon rules!"

I teaches kids that you can work together with others even if you have preconceived notions about them. It is a wholesome movie all kids can watch and parents need not worry their kids will see anything they don't need to."

Wallace & Gromit are a great pair that allow children to question, explore, and enjoy the animated comedy to figure out who is sabotaging the garden. The stop-motion animation makes for a more than cartoon, less than live actor feel, that kids can enjoy!"

"Babe is certainly a nice kid's movie. But I think that's where the praise of it can end. It's a coming of age tale, in a way that just about every kid's movie is coming of age. There isn't much that differentiates it from another. I think a better example is something like Homeward Bound, Babe is at the end of the day just a mediocre movie."
