My ears certainly aren't good enough to tune a guitar without help and this app, especially with it's new interface perfectly does the job. The only caveat I can think of is you need to be in a relatively quite area to do the tuning because it is pretty sensitive to external noises, which is great for tuning but bad for you if there are other noises you don't want the app to pick up on. I highly recommend this to pickers and players ! More

If you need a metronome this is the best thing. You get a drumbeat instead of the metronome clicking. It's a good tool to stay on beat when you are learning to play music. I use it when I am learning new songs on my guitar.

For new and learning music students this app is awesome. My son has a natural musical ear, so when he decided to try to teach his tone deaf mother how to play the guitar, he decided tone training might help. This app is a blessing, not only can I practice alone, but I also know how well I am doing, or not. Not only has my overall game mode progressed but there is a definitive difference in my guitar playing and how well I can now understand the chords. More

I recommend it because it is a great application for musicians, both beginners and advanced. Beginners will find in it all the necessary scales and chords that are worth knowing, and advanced musicians will appreciate its capabilities when looking for sophisticated progression or voicing. Thanks to the simple interface, the application stands out from the others and we can download it for free! iOS only! More

This is one of the best tools I've seen that helps musicians use their music theory knowledge to analyze and compose music. It is like a calculator. It does not teach music theory. It takes the musical concepts that a musician already knows and applies them to every key. More
