"Being an avid Shakespeare reader, I was told that West Side Story is based off Romeo and Juliet tragedy. So I watched this music. Opening scene was around 5 mins so I was still able to grab some snacks. I like the romance without being too cheesy. I really enjoyed the well-choreograph dancing. Even the fight scenes looked more like dancing than brawl. Very good movie!"

"I really love the scene where Gene Kelly sang the Singing in the Rain song. I could only imagine myself on his shoes, finally noticed by my crush! Wouldn't I dance all smiles in the middle of the rain like that? Aside from this, I like how the movie shows a little bit about the silent's film evolution towards movies with voices. The sets are really so fantastic!"

"I've never encountered any musical movie as delightful and enchanting as this one. I love how this movie celebrates little joys around. Not to mention that this was made a little shortly after the world war! How depressing is that! It must have take a lot of inspiration from the screenwriters to still achieve a genuine movie such as this."

"As a child I had loved to have a nanny like Mary Poppins. Her little bag was so full of magical things and she would take you to magical places! How delightful is that? The visual effects might not be too good compared to today but the music and songs are so lovely! This is a must-watch classic."
