"The idea of Permaculture intrigued me when I first heard about it, so I picked up this book. This book is designed for the backyard gardener, covering how to create and maintain ideal soil for gardening, how to maintain water management, and how to allow your food to also benefit critters in the area. This is a good book that has lots of information that works well for many people - myself included. I would recommend reading the last chapter first for a quick overview (review) and then going from Chapter 1 onward to get to the nitty-gritty."

Spirituality, agriculture, and science made this book that more exciting. The do-more technique was cultivated using all of these principles and was perfected by hard work."

"I took a class on magic mushrooms (and other assorted fungi) in college. It piqued my interest and decided to pick up this book. I would say this book is not for someone with more than a rudimentary knowledge on the subject. In addition, Stamets' book seems filled with redundant information and could have been half the length it is presently. Nevertheless, the information is interesting for "fungi fans.""
