"My daughter brought this home from school to read for her class, and naturally, I insisted on reading it first to find out if there were any suggestive themes or inappropriate language inside. After finishing it I have to say it sounds like a description of paradise! Who wouldn't want to live in that society? Great story."

"Who wouldn't love "The Velveteen Rabbit?" It's a timeless story. In our society of instant gratification and constantly changing technology, this story serves as an important reminder to slow down and appreciate the little things in our lives. I read this story to my children and we talk about cherishing our belongings and what is really important in life. I am sure it will be just as relevant some day when they are reading it to my grandchildren!"

"This is a great book for anyone looking to teach their kid Chinese from a young age. It’s a charming book, great pictures, and the use of rhymes makes the words easy to learn and remember. If you want to go to China someday, have Chinese family and want to make sure they learn, or just want to get a head start on their inevitable global hegemony, this is a good buy. (The elementary I work at has this in the library for aspiring dual-language students, and it gets checked out a lot.) However, it’s not exactly a “must-read” or an “all-time” book, being published in 2013; so for this solution I’m giving it 0 stars, because it doesn’t fit what you’re probably looking for. "
