"I was working 8am to 7pm shifts for the past few years and I wanted to make sure I spend time in the evening with my 15 year old twin daughters. I was looking for something exciting and magical to share with them while they read to themselves at night. I found this amazing book called "Beastly" which is an young adult fantasy and fiction novel that is a retelling of the story of beauty and the beast. This enchanting story is about consequences, redemption, and the transformative nature of love. My daughters are absolutely enchanted and in love with the story. Thank you!"

"Pick up this fabulous book and I had to say this is a pretty good fairy tale book for young teens. Scarlet is a women who is trying to avoid a bad guy like no other and decided to hide in Robin Hood group of thieves. There is a little bit of love triangle in the book that keeps it interesting since the book tends to be slow on the tell tale side. I would recommend it if you enjoy a retell of Robin Hood and his thieves with a slight twist."

"We must already change these themes of princesses, that is why women grow insecure always looking for their prince (a human being who accepts them) as if they were inferior or were animals, on the other this very well written book but again what I repeat I have to change these tales of princesses"

"This book reads like a fairy tale, but also has elements of a horror story. There is both innocence, dancing, and faeries... and then terrifying evil. Unfortunately I didn't find the plot extremely unique or groundbreaking, as it reminded me of Coraline (not a fairy tale.)"

"I'm not too sure what exactly a retelling is, however the topic itself seems like such a specific topic to ask. I can't dock too many points off the solution since the topic is pretty specific. The solution does however cover the "Retelling" genre pretty well. The prices are decent but the reviews are below 4/5"

"I ran across this book while looking for a good fairytell book to give my niece. The book itself is about a young girl who has the interesting ability to talk to birds. It's a rather entertaining book and is part of a series of books that continues the story of the young princess and her strange bird talking ability. The story gets more interesting as it progresses as the main character becomes sort of a rebellious young leader though she ends up in desolation after her mutiny in a foreign land. It's worth giving a read especially if you like romantic novels about empowered female characters. "
