Whether or not you think you'll agree with his politics, I highly recommend this read. For supporters of his view, it provides a lot of the rational behind the stances, and for those of us who don't necessarily agree with his views on righting past wrongs, it provides a look into the mind of someone who thinks differently."

I suppose if you just want a simple minded book that glosses over the facts, this one will do. But if' you're looking for a challenging narrative - take a hard pass on this one. In my opinion, it's just a low-brow 'meh' (and that's hardly worth the purchase price). "

"Despite being 23 years old - nearly a quarter of a century old at this point - this book is still relevant to our modern day. Many of the conservative politicians and voters around today still have not relinquished their prejudiced and unfair views of homosexuals in America, and horrible practices like conversion therapy are still being done to this day, even despite some states placing bans on them. Many gay teenage Christians are still being driven to thoughts of suicide due to their families not being accepting of them. Thus, I think this book would be very important for conservative Christians to read. Hopefully through reading the author's many rich life experiences, they will come to the understanding that gay people are not the evil Satan-controlled demons they might believe them to be - they are normal, good people, just like themselves."
