At last there is a good solution in phpMyAdmin, providing an intuitive interface over the web. It can import data and generate graphics to wow customers. What more could anyone want? "Why Use phpMyadmin Using phpMyAdmin helps to improve database management. When working with phpMyAdmin you will see a significant increase in efficiency compared to using the command line. phpMyadmin is designed to help perform common tasks such as viewing a list of databases on a server, viewing the structure of a table, inserting data into a table, and quickly changing table structure. You can see this when looking at a particular interface: With the above interface, users will quickly know how many databases are created on the server by looking at the left hand frame. When importing user data, it is also possible to know the type of data that must be entered for each field to avoid entering incorrect data. These utilities are not present in the command line. In addition to providing a user-friendly web-based user interface, phpMyadmin has many more features than the command line. At the beginning you learned about some of the tasks that users can perform when managing the database through phpMyadmin. However, not only for normal tasks that you can do with the terminal, phpMyadmin also allows users to view the design of the database visually. This function is also called design view. "

"As a database administrator I have always found MySQL interfaces hard to work with. SQL Buddy was recommend by a colleague and I haven't touched another SQL administration tool since. Give this browser based solution a chance, you won't be disappointed. "
