"Set one year after the disappearance of Alison, the manipulative queen bee, the one-hour drama revolves around four 16-year-old girlfriends - Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily - who each receive taunting messages suggesting Alison is watching them. Linked by their former bond and the panic and confusion the messages cause, the estranged friends are reunited, though each girl has her own secrets. ."

"I love the time period that this series it set in. It's also interesting to see the Australian 1920s in comparison to America's "Roaring 20s" which was deeply affected by prohibition. I have to say the show isn't historically accurate, but it is fun to watch and the leading lady is a strong feminine character who maintains a stylish wit."

"Very bizarre series. It was produced in the early 90's but is very campy and seems to represent an earlier time. Then there is the fact that we have started on the second season and it is still centered around looking for the murderer or murderers of a girl whom we never got to meet"

"Got tired of watching standard police procedural TV shows and wanted to watch a good mystery show that was more unique. This was a perfect fit I loved the characters and loved the stories. My only complaint is that the show is over and I can't binge watch it anymore."
